A CLASS FOR EVERYONE

Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, challenging, and fun space for people to practice HEMA judgement free. Whether you are brand new to fencing or martial arts or if you have trained in the past we are very accommodating and flexible to your needs as a student.

If you are unsure if HEMA is right for you we offer your first lesson free of charge. Come stop by and see what HEMA is all about!

We officially have the www.niagarahistoricalfencing.ca domain for our website! ⚔ We were very proud that two of our students also ran seminars at this years Gathering of the Blades. Matt Lazaris-Brunner ran an intensive footwork seminar and Brennan Faucher ran a seminar on dagger sparring. We are lucky to have both of them in our club!⚔ Our instructor Matt taught a seminar at this years Gathering of the Blades which focused on parry/riposte from the perspective of Sabre/Broadsword. He was blown away by how many people attended the workshop and how well received it was. Thanks again to @dwarfswords and @nemesis_historical_fencing for putting on another great event! We can't wait until next year ⚔ Our club managed to bring a sizable crew out to this year's Gathering of the Blades in Barrie. What a great first day filled with friends, food, and fencing!
